We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.

The place of the anointing is love.  Without love, even the greatest faith counts for nothing.

This is the dominating motivating factor above all else in a minister.  It was for love that God sent His servants the prophets and His own son to die.  It was for love that Jesus obeyed, and suffered.  It was for love that man was restored.

Love is Spirit, for God is love, and God is Spirit.  Love is Eternal, because God always was.  Love is the only thing worth living, or dying for.

The rich, in general, do not have time for love.  They are interested in riches, and wealth, and properties, and power.  They, generally, got what they have because they could focus on it.  Love costs something, and those who love love generally cannot hold on to what they have, because they value something else more than gold.

The people of the world, in general, do not know love.  They bump into and regard each other from a distance, but they do not know love.

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

1 John 4:7-8

It is not on the outside that God is served, but from the inward man of the heart.  It is not in acts of service that God is pleased, but with a broken, and contrite heart.

Love demands no record of wrong.  In love, offense is not an option.  In faith, a man is prisoner to the happy expectation of good, possessing it now, even while it stands afar in the material possession of the thing.  And, the man in love is prisoner to the well-being of another, the happiness of another, the will of another.  The man who loves is surrendered.

Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.

Proverbs 4:23

What you love, you follow after.  If the world and the things of it, you will go with it to destruction.  If the Father and the protector of your souls, then from His life, Jesus Christ, you shall receive life from life.

His Spirit is His love, and His love is inseparable from Him.  To leave love is to leave Him, and to follow after love is to follow Him.  There is nothing else that matters.

Either His love, and His Kingdom is enough, or it isn’t.  Either He is the all sufficient one, or He isn’t.  At some point, we must believe Matthew 6:33, that all the rest will be added to us as we make full pursuit of this realm called heaven, or what are we doing?  He spoke, and His word is Eternal.  If we pay heed to His instructions, we will come into His love, and His life, and we will find ourselvse walking as He walked.

He loved the widow, and rebuked the Pharisee.  He healed the lepers, and cursed the fig tree.  He came to preach, and yet did not mind when all the crowds left Him.  For, His way was the way of love, and His purpose was His Father’s.

As we lay down ourselves to this love, and make it our first priority, His dominion will see to it that we are provided for.  We may not always be comfortable, but, as Paul wrote, we have learned how to be content in all circumstances (Philippians 4:12).

It is the place of abiding in love where we abide in Him.  When His words abide in us and we abide in Him, we are truly His disciples.

And it is a love that must have boundaries, for you will either love the world or you will love God, because you cannot love both.  When we love Him, everything of the world becomes worthless in our eyes.  When we live in His love, with nothing to lose, we are free to love with His love, and speak His words, without fear of the cost.

The man living for this life while trying to serve God to the uttermost experiences the most dreadful burden and conflict of mind, indeed, he cannot, for he must choose whether to stop short, to deny Him, or to otherwise turn aside and be scattered.  But, the heart that cannot be dismayed, the love that cannot be stopped, is stronger than death (Song of Songs 8:6).  It overcomes where others fail, not because of it’s own effort, but simply because it is what it is, and it is God’s seed of love within him.

Abiding in love cost God His everything, and must cost everyone who does it the same, for it is the nature of love to give (John 3:16).

Yet, at the end of the day, those who do not believe, who do not come to God on His terms, no matter how gracious, must suffer torment, condemnation, and hell (John 3:18).

This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.  For in His presence is fullness of joy, and in His temple all cry Glory!
