Sitting outside a local church, my heart is given to wonder, to probing…

The same people go in, depending on the denomination, with the same bondage a, the same types of meetings, and the same level of emptiness, depending on the “brand”. And, I think to myself, where is the hunger? Where is the need to touch the Lord? To sense His presence and be consumed in His goodness?

I wonder, some, have we thought God right out of the church? Have we settled for less than what He has offered, and I so, why?

I refuse to think that he Gospel age had something we do not. I refuse to believe that some special grace is waiting yet to be released, so that we can be with Him. For 2,000 years, it is finished, and God has given all He needs to and It has been ours since then, to whomever would believe

In the beginning, that is the beginning of the church, there was no name for this assembly; they were merely a “sect”, a small group of Jews, which the main-stream shunned as “errant”.  They were not named or classified, except that they followed Jesus, really.

It wasn’t until later, about ten years after the Crucifixion and the Resurrection of the Lord in the city of Antioch that they were called “Christians”, or “little Christs”.  Whether for good or for ill, men like to name things, and, for better or worse, the name has stuck. Read more…

Isaiah 42:1-4

Jesus said His yoke was easy, and His burden was light. The essence and key to correct ministry is found in these words.  As long as our ministry is heaven and our labor hard to our souls, we are doing more than we ought, or doing it wrong.  While there is grace and mercy to learn, we must learn, and find that place of ministering by His Spirit alone, not out our selves or our own strength, but by Him alone. In the garden of the Lord, blooms a fragrance.  And it’s fragrance spreads abroad in the walls of our heart.  Flowers of the Lord burst forth, and His delight and wonder spread abroad in the pathways of our lives.

Fragrance mixed with fragrance seeps up, like a whirlwind of opportunities, colliding to make one beautiful residue.  The planting of the Lord springs forth, as a bloom among the thorns, to the most beautiful of ends.

If Jesus, in three and a half years of being anointed with the Spirit, produced such fruit, shouldn’t we, in a generation or two in the Lord, be able, as a body, to produce similar results, that is, if we are truly living after His Spirit?

The Spiritual Man, Christ, must live with us individually, as well as corporately.  We must be the feet upon the Earth, whose head is in the highest heavens, namely Christ, where also we are seated.  It is His call, the same as it was in the beginning, for His Word has not returned void.

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Through the blood, we enter in through the torn body of Christ into perfection.  Not merely living in the faith of the outward works, nor even abiding in the flow of the Spirit, but pressing on to complete consummation and indwelling of Him.

Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

Hosea 6:3

It is here that no one need to teach us, saying, Know the Lord.  It may come at other places, but here, there is a knowing in the cloud, and a revelation in the glory.

Above the ark, between the cherubim, the only light of the Holiest of all was God Himself.  No source and no supply, no beginning nor end.
