Here

October 27th, 2011

I’d gladly pay it all.  I’d gladly give up everything.

Sitting here at the door, knocking, day after day.  Asking, seeking, knocking.  I know the promised fulfillment is mine.

He said, seek my face.  My face, Lord, will I seek.  Continually will I cling to you.  Do not hide your face from me, nor turn your servant away in anger.

There is one door, Jesus Christ, and one source, His Spirit.  Continually will I seek you, gladly do I come into your courts again, and again, weeping, begging, pleading with you.

Your promise is secure, your word is sure.  You said, I would see you, God.  You said, I would be satisfied in my hunger and thirst for righteousness.  You said I would I would inherit the Earth.  I would be comforted.  The Kingdom is mine, and, as I am not seen, overlooked, ignored, and bypassed, deliberately, because of the direct choice I have made, my reward is great in heaven.

Your Word and Spirit alone guide me.  Although I seek for companions, most often, there are none.  Of the few that come around at times, fewer have stayed.  Yet, this one thing I do, I press on.  I continue at the gate.  For, I will see you.  In my flesh, I will see God.

I will not stop asking, I will not stop seeking, I will not stop begging, pleading, and interceding, until I see your face in Righteousness.  You do not grow weary in my complaint of love, for you only grow weary with calling sin evil and evil sin, and of robbing you.  You do not grow tired of righteousness, but wickedness.  You will not be silent much longer.

But, I will wait, I will push, and I will lose my life.  Though it cost me all my life, I will yet pay it, for I have heard your voice, I have known your word, I have seen your face.  And, I will not be satisfied.  I will not until I see you.  Until I know you.  Until I am fully engulfed.  And, if it adds to my woes, then it will truly only be YOUR happiness that sustains me.

Lord, I suffer the loss of all things, and yet, I cannot be any ways more happily blessed.  I am ready, like Paul, to depart from this World, for it has nothing for me, yet by your will and for your purposes alone, I remain.  For, you are my God.

Lord, I ask.  Lord, I seek.  Make your passion known.  Make your blood flow free.  Make your life break forth as light in my eyes.

I stand all the day, and all the night, longing.  I ask, and I seek, incessantly, for you said, though I may not be heard because I am your friend, I will be heard for my obstinancy.  You hear my cries, Lord, and they do not go unheeded.  You have answered me, and yet I am still waiting.  Waiting, here, for you.

I will not stop, I will not be silent, I will not hold my praise, hold my adoration, hold my cries and my groans, I will not be turned back from the heart that beats for me, I will not be pushed back by the waves of fear and condemnation, I will not be discouraged, and I will not give in to the crushing of fear.  I will stand my watch, I will push through, I will take hold of your presence, I will take up the sword of the Spirit, and I will prevail, and yet, you alone can be my reward.  You alone can be my satisfaction.  You alone can vindicate.

I hate this life, in accordance with Luke 14:26.  I hate every false way.  I want ONLY your face, in righteousness, here on this Earth.  This is my request.  This is my desire.  This is my Faith.  I stand on my watch.  I call on your most Holy Name.

Release your anointing.  Release your presence.  Release your Kingdom, power, majesty, and sovereignty.  Until we bow.  Until we surrender.  Until we pray.  Make us to weep in your presence Lord, and strip us of all our selfish pride.  Lord, on behalf of repentance, grant it to us, and change our fleshly hearts.  Lord, on behalf of children, take away all that we rely upon and look to as success.  Lord on behalf of righteousness, be righteous.

Lord, release your glory on this place.

I am still here, still waiting.  I long to see you in your sanctuary, and to, daily, look upon your face.  I have not been satisfied.  I have not known absolute, continual oneness as Jesus talked about in John 17.  I have not died to all my life.

Make me like yours, Jesus.  Take me from me.

I have only one desire, Jesus, that I *MAY* dwell in your house all the days…  Your beauty and your wisdom outshine them all.  I have only one prayer, Lord, Jesus.  You.
