In the Glory

January 12th, 2012

Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.

John 17:24

In the glory realm, everything becomes easy.  Many people talk about glory, many people use the world loosely, but the glory is something distinct, something specific–it is real.  It is the very atmosphere of heaven.

Things are accelerated in the glory.  What took years before can happen suddenly, because of the glory realm, for it is the timeless, eternal realm of God.  And, the glory is in the church.

For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea.

Habakkuk 2:14

God’s glory is everywhere in the Earth, perceived or not, but is specifically the knowledge of it that will come in these days.  The realm of His glory will invade every facet of society, so that, just as there is water everywhere there is water, the knowledge of His glory will so pervade the Earth that there will be escaping it.

For those who believe, this will be the best of times ever.  For those who do serve the Lord, they they will tremble, and a new holy awe will come upon the unbeliever when they think about the church.

But none of the rest dared to associate with them; however, the people held them in high esteem.

Acts 5:13

It is the presence of the glory that will open the way for the next wave of souls.  It is the glory that will open the way for the power demonstration greater than Acts.  And, it is the glory that will mark the difference between those who are living hard after the Lord and those who will not.

There is no compromise in the glory.  Like the Highway of Holiness (Isaiah 35:8), there can no evil thing enter into it.

There is so much ease in the glory that it is, when it lifts some, to slip up because we let our guard down.  But instead, we must esteem it better than life itself.

The glory lifts us to where we cannot go in ourselves.  Like a great updraft for a soaring bird, the wind and the ability of the Spirit soars our spirit to be able operate more easily.  It becomes easy to stay focused, it becomes easy to hear and respond.

And, it is precious.  God tests those vessels that will move regularly in His Glory.  We are tried as gold and refined as silver before He can endue a person with His Glory.  He will not give His glory to another.

It would also follow that there is a greater accountability for those who are do move in the glory and sin.

But, it is for His Kingdom.  Those who have sacrificed everything, who do not want money, or fame, or honor, and who have cleansed their hearts and souls by obeying the truth (1 Peter 1:22) will find coming to them divine revelation of a stunning quality.  The understanding of the Word will increase.  The power and ability of the Apostles in the Earth will be clearly seen. And the great ingathering will come.

Some will resist, but the incoming of the saints will shake the systems of the Earth.

The Kingdom will be made manifest in many ways.  Many people in diverse places of the Earth will see breakthrough, and many will become well known across the Earth.  The kings of the Earth will take notice of the church, because of the power.  The sick and afflicted will come in, in droves.

And, the glory, the very glory of the Lord, will encompass some.  It will come to overshadow those who are willing.  Surely, we are on the verge of the days of the greater works.  Yet, let it be trumpeted loud, that those who rise for their own honor, those who seek their own promotion, will be quickly leveled by the Lord as new and more lively power is distributed among their brothers.

It will not be a one man show, but, as always, there will be men anointed by the Lord to demonstrate, and only those securely built upon the rock will stand the storms, per Jesus’ instruction in Matthew 7:24.

Just as Jesus only did what He saw His Father do, we must still be connected to the vine to do anything.

We will be moving in the glory, and the light of the Gospel shall go out with power.

In the fullness of the Glory, in the message and heart of the Gospel, the church shall prevail, and be victorious.
