“The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached, and everyone is forcing his way into it.

There came a man sent from God.  His name was John.

He came as a witness to testify concerning the light, so that through Him all men might be saved.

And all Israel went out to see him, and be baptized. For He preached a baptisim repentance for the forgiveness of sins.

While the one he came to anounce….  Would baptize with fire.

He was the greatest ever born of a woman.

Elijah was a man of like passions with us

He prayed fervently that it might not rain, and it did not rain for three years and six months.

He prayed again, and the heavens gave forth her rain, and the Earth gave forth her fruits.

He prayed, and fire fell down from heaven.  And Israel slaughtered 850 false prophets of Baal.

John the baptist and Elijah were of the same spirit

Both did something extraordinary for God

They both single-handedly turned an entire nation back to God.

On that mountain where Elijah prayed A realm of divine power and might circulated around a man

In that region by the Jordan, there was something More that drew an entire nation to the desert.

It was not to see a  king’s palace or to listen to a well-groomed man, but to hear a voice

These men touched the power of the almighty, a realm of Authority from Beyond

They brought heaven to earth, the fire of God–through the flesh of man.

The men saw something higher than themselves.

their method was not in the flesh

but by the strength of the Spirit

As John spent those months and years, fasting, praying, and seeking God in the wilderness,

He could have given up, He could have tried to return.  Something drove him on.

Until one day, something met him and ordered him:

Go and baptize with water

and the one whom you see the Spirit descend and remain

He is the Son of God.

It was a man that stood with God

Untold thousands of heavenly hosts surrounded each of them.

Untapped potentials of heavenly might stood ready at hand.

unnamable realms and capabilities lay waiting

all they needed was someone with faith.

The intangible spirit realm of the holy ghost Became Known

He is just looking for someone to believe.

Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith is the bridge, and you are His gateway of power.

Man entered God’s plan, and the Eternal law of Faith came into action.

the smallest, uncompromised trusting in Him,

mixed with any true word from God’s lips,

brings forth not the power of the man believing,

but the dominion of the one who spoke it!

The power isn’t you, but the Word.

You only have to touch it with Faith.

God chose His man, and his man followed.

To the desert and to the wilderness.

To the river and to the fire

To obtain the treasure, you must lose the rest

To have the most, you must forsake it all

For the greatest heights, God has always provided a deep enough pit.

For the greatest prize, must come by the greatest price.

It is His Glory, and He will not share His Glory with another.

The reward is not worth being compared with the cost,

The treasure far outweighs the price.

When the vision is focused on one thing

the whole body is full of light

He feeds us with the finest of wheat

and with honey from the rock, he will satisfy.

He is our portion

He is our supply

The Kingdom of Heaven consists in Righteousness, Peace, and Joy in the Holy Ghost.

The just shall live by faith.

The same power that raised Christ Jesus from the dead.

Lives in you.

And the least in the Kingdom is greater than John

And the poor and the persecuted possess the Kingdom.

If we find a place in Him, we must desire it completely

And if we lose our life to have it,

Only he will understand

And the glory everlasting

will far outweigh the loss

and the brightness of your shining

will rival any cross

If we lose our life for jesus, we are sure to find it

And he who gives his all in love, will possess it all.

Only Believe.
