VIDEO: End Times Part 5 – The Antichrist

October 7th, 2013

Who is the antichrist?  What will he be like?  Well, that all depends on how you read the Book.  It could be that it turns out to be one of the larger non-events of history.  Kind of like Santa, the tooth fairy, and the Asthoreth bunny.  When it really comes down to it, if most of the prophecies of Revelation and Daniel have been fulfilled, then there really isn’t much left said.  And, that leaves the rest of the debate outside of the realm of scripture, and merely in speculation, which isn’t for theologians, but for arguments only.  Of course, this doesn’t meant there wont be evil men who submit themselves to the adversary, just has there have been throughout history, but are we expecting, Biblically, a great one-world ruler who will be a super-evil?  Not that I can find.

There you go again! You state with full confidence that the multi-part statue of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream in Daniel has already been destroyed! How can you be so blind? The US and Europe inherited from those gentile kingdoms and they constitute the toes made of iron and clay. Interestingly, when the US had a very senior general called Eisenhower (who became president), they also had a very senior army general running Germany whose name was, … you guessed it! CLAY!! General Lucius Clay! So, as long as the toes are still there the image is not yet destroyed because the little rock hit the toes.

      Interesting…

I look at it this way… Daniel 2:35 says that all four materials must be destroyed “together”. Daniel 2:38 says that Nebuchadnezzar is the “head of gold”. Most agree with the first three materials… Babylon, Media-Persia, and Greece. Yet, I look around the world, and, for sure, Nebuchadnezzar’s Babylon and the other two kingdoms are destroyed from the Earth in their outward glory and majesty (physical statue). They were, as it were, removed at the same time as Rome. Some would say a ‘revived Roman empire’ is in order. I counter… Nebuchadnezzar’s Babylon, and it alone, are in view. It fell to ruin some time after 500AD, and is the “haunt of jackals”.

You could not do a “revived Roman empire”. You need a revived all four. And, Daniel 2:38 says you need a resurrected Nebuchadnezzar at the head. This is untenable.

Therefore, whatever broke the first three Kingdoms not only is the Rock, the Kingdom Jesus announced and brought, the only Kingdom God’s got, but it also broke the fourth, making the iron / iron & clay be specifically and only historic Rome.

The further interpretation of a specific meaning of the toes is just that… interpretation.. It may or may not be the case, but it is not textual.

      Thanks for the input!
