He told them still another parable: The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into a large amount of flour until it worked all through the dough.

It is no large observation to note that people do not usually fully understand all aspects of the Kingdom immediately at the time of salvation.  That which is planted grows, flourishes and multiplies, until greater and greater light is revealed within.  For, surely, the path of the righteous is like the growing dawn, it grows brighter and brighter until the full light of day (Proverbs 4:18).  So, the Spirit comes to reveal to us all truth, to be our counselor, and to help us.

Salvation is not an agreement with a doctrinal statement, but it is an introduction to a person, Jesus Christ.  It is meeting Him, and realizing that there is no other name under heaven whereby men might be saved, and that living with faith in this man, belief in who He is, is the doorway to Eternal Life.

For a new believer would not even understand the fullness of the baptism they undergo, even though it is right and good to teach them of it before hand.  But, certainly, even to grow into the fullness of the Spirit, to understand all of the aspects of Christ, takes a lifetime, and then all of Eternity, for He is without measure and without limit.  God Beyond Time.

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

1 Corinthians 2:9-13

Yet, we have within us this helper, this comforter.  While those of the Old Covenant could not see and could not hear nor even perceive what was in the heart of God for them, by this Eternal Spirit, all the mysteries of God are revealed unto us, as we wait, as we seek Him, and as we grow in Him.

For, in 1 Corinthians 3:1, Paul writes to those believers who are yet carnal, who are yet babes in Christ, who have not yet gone onto maturity (Hebrews 6:1).  He addresses those who have yet gotten beyond the movements of the flesh and the acting out of the passions and lusts thereof.  Though they have Christ and the Spirit, they have not yet learned to live by Him, as one does by getting to know Him, finding out what is pleasing to the Lord.  And this is only done through the life of seeking after Him, forsaking worldliness, and living for His Kingdom and His Righteousness.

Yet, as we do seek Him, and as we do grow in the gospel, the truths of the scriptures are revealed to us by the self-same Spirit.  He illuminates the passages, makes connections between the thoughts, and makes what was once time to be plainly seen.

For those who will, the whole of salvation is laid out from Genesis to Revelation, and the whole course of spirituality is made plain for man to see.  In answer to Moses’ cry, that he would be taught  God’s ways, we have His Word.

But, this does not come without seeking Him, and getting to know Him, and the willful, purposeful, and somewhat continual putting off of the fleshly acts until that faith comes wherewith we stand wholly in the Spirit, moved by nothing except that wind, that breath, of heaven.

Whereas Paul described us being dead with Christ in Colossians 2, and at the beginning of Colossians 3, that we were raised with Him, he then immediately instructs the believer in this dead and raised with Christ condition to then to put to death by the Spirit whatever concerns our Earthly nature.  This progression is not by accident, for it is only in the ability of the Christ through His Spirit that we can put these things off, and only in understanding that we are dead to them in Christ (see also Romans 6:11) that we can, in faith, be loosed from them, through the very death on the cross.  So that it may be said, then, that this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

For, faith must increase, and the revelation and the light must also increase, faith to faith, and glory to glory (Romans 1:17).  Until we reach the measure of the stature of Christ, the perfect man.  Until we have it all (Ephesians 4:13).
