Life In Him

January 17th, 2012

In the depths of poverty, in the realms of despair, no matter what it seems, He is there.

By faith alone we stand, against the storms and the dregs, no matter what the devil unleashes, because of Christ alone, I live.

There is a saying that goes like this.  Faith is faith when God has you out on a limb, sawing off that limb, and the tree falls. And the limb, severed, remains aloft, with you on it.  A Faith walk is not described as walking across a gap where you see no bridge, it is walking off a cliff when you don’t see the other side.

What is more real, ultimately, Heaven or Earth?  What is more substantive, a temporary piece of clay or a single Word from the Lord?

The ultimate issue of Life and Death is a sin issue, and it is a realm issue.  The realm of the heavens is not worth being compared with this Earth, but rather supersedes it in every capacity, every quality, and every facets.  As oil always rises above water, and never mixes, so the Spirit always sits atop the waters of this life, never mingles with it, except in the heart of a believer.

A dead man is dead, because he is not alive.  A living human, though he is breathing, if he does not have Christ, does not have life within them self.  It is on a different level, a more meaningful and Eternal level, that that Gospel is preached.

If we come with the wisdom of men, the basic principles of this world, we fail in our calling.  If we present just a natural fact of the death and resurrection of a person, the full Gospel is not presented.

For, God Divine descended and became flesh, and it was not JUST a man that paid the price.  But an Eternal debt was covered by a better blood, and a uncoverable offense was corrected by the unthinkable.

But, the Gospel is preached in the substance of truth, and of light.  The fullness of the Kingdom is brought forth in a Word (Matthew 13:19), a Word that is Spirit and Life.  And, as it is only Jesus that is the Life, it is only from Himself that His message can be preached, in the end, as it always has been whenever true believers speak forth His name.

We preach to principalities and powers in spiritual places.

And, men, to whom will be given the right to judge even the angels (1 Corinthians 6:3), dominion has been given, and access granted through simple believing.  For it is by grace that we have been saved, through faith, and that not of ourselves, it is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8).

Life lived, life breathed, life known.

Only He truly is the Bread of life, the living water.  What the world doesn’t see, doesn’t know, is is their death.  It is the life of a living God inside, breathed withing, that is our all.

The world can fall away.  The earth and hills could melt.  The spirit of death itself could come, but life lives, and I will never taste it.

The Kingdom of God is at hand, every time I lift mine, because His is mine, and mine is His, there is no distinction.  Life, is Jesus Christ alone.

The Kingdom of God is Eternal, and so I live forever.

The Kingdom of God is present, so I am never alone.

From the simplest belief, to the greatest faith ever, a single grain is all that is needed, and a pure, and undefiled heart is its proper place.

The life of the Spirit is not to be compared with this life.  For those who not only find it, but lose everything to possess it, nothing of this life can match the thrills, bliss, and wonder of the perfect God.  For the one that refuses any other consolation, there is no better comfort than that which was promised to those who mourn (Matthew 5:4).  Oh, to be possessed by that sweet wine of His love, that ever present honey running through the soul, that Divine Rapture who is God Himself.

Divinity meets ecstasy, and exclaims, Hallelujah!  He has raptured my soul!  Passion meets purpose, and screams, “I no longer live, but Christ lives in me!”  Death meets life, and for the first time, breathes the holy wind…

Love is to know Him, life is to have Him.  Passion is to pursue Him, and ecstasy is to touch.

Life laid down, life found.  Life remembered, and Lot’s wife died.

The Kingdom of Heaven is not here, but there, and as we pray, He is.

Pray, then, in this way: Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.

Matthew 6:9-10

A Gospel that has Eternal consequences  must of needs be of an Eternal dimension.  The Kingdom of God exists in the dimension Beyond of time, for it is everlasting.  It is beyond knowledge, for through the anointing and Spirit of God, we know all things, even the hidden things of God (1 Corinthians 2:10, 1 John 2:20).  It is Beyond the dimension of humanity, for we are New Creations (2 Corinthians 5:17), no longer carnal (1 Corinthians 3:3-4).

For the dimension of God that He has given, even if merely at taste of the powers of the age to come, cause join together with His Divinity (in a matter of complete and utter submission, lowliness of spirit, and complete love, for His glory alone).  That we might be one, even as He and His Father were one, being a partaker of His divine nature by His divine promises.  But we have the mind of Christ!

The Eternal has already intersected many of us, and as we sow our very selves into that great well of His love, His heart, we reap life and life everlasting (Galatians 6:8).

This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

John 17:3

Not to live of this world, but as of a different ‘race’, as it were, wholly different, wholly sanctified, wholly pure, and wholly holy unto the Lord.  A body that claims it but does not live it is a liar, and the one that puts up a facade of acceptability yet does show it in His heart deceives himself and does not yet know His yoke.

Life comes, not because of who we are, but because of who He is, and only Him, and when you’ve touched it, when you’ve seen it, no thrill or pastime of this life will ever fill that need.

Why watch the television, when you can lose your mind in the sweet, sweet presence of our God.  And, what a better yoke to wear, than that which is born of His love, from which no one can ever escape.  Love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:8).

Many waters cannot quench love; rivers cannot wash it away.

If one were to give all the wealth of his house for love, it would be utterly scorned.
